Add a Link to a Page
To add a link to a website page:
- On the page you are editing, type the text that you want to attach the link to. Left click and highlight the text.
- Click the Link icon (looks like a chain link) from the the HTML editor tool bar.
- A pop-up window will appear.
- Click the Link Info tab.
- From the Link Type dropdown menu, select URL.
- From the Protocol dropdown menu, select the correct URL prefix: http:// or https://
- In the URL field, enter the web URL of the link.
- For more options:
- Click the Target tab.
- You may want to make the link pop-up in its own window. Click the Target dropdown menu and select New Window.
- If you would like the link to open in the same window, select <not set>.
- Click OK to save the hyperlink.
- If you later need to edit or remove the link, right click on the text and select Edit Link or Unlink.
