Add a Link to a Page

To add a link to a website page:

1. On the page you are editing, type the text that you want to attach the link to. Left click and highlight the text.
2. Click the Link icon (looks like a chain link) from the the HTML editor tool bar.
   
3. A pop-up window will appear.
   • Click the Link Info tab.
   • From the Link Type dropdown menu, select URL.
   • From the Protocol dropdown menu, select the correct URL prefix: http:// or https://
   • In the URL field, enter the web URL of the link.
     
4. For more options:
   • Click the Target tab.
   • You may want to make the link pop-up in its own window. Click the Target dropdown menu and select New Window.
   • If you would like the link to open in the same window, select <not set>.
   • Click OK to save the hyperlink.
     
5. If you later need to edit or remove the link, right click on the text and select Edit Link or Unlink.
